Phonexia has strong link with Speech@FIT research group dealing with many aspects of computer processing of human speech at Department of Computer Graphics and Multimedia Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology.

Phonexia’s main aims in relation to Speech@FIT are to:

• Shift the research technologies that are mature enough to implementations usable by customers.
• Provide commercial framework for these technologies (installation, servicing, support).
• Provide a clear business partner to commercial customers.
• Ensure safe handling of sensitive data for security and defense - Phonexia’s people dispose of security clearances.
• Accumulate sufficient financial reserve for launching projects without having to ask for research grants.
